Being a fan of Houston Area HS football I can give somewhat of a take on Evans. He is a petulant minded kid. Very sulky and does not act very mature is what that means for the LSU faithful. He is as advertised on the field. SEC ready to play as a frosh.

Where is he going? I'm believing that he's going to the "next big thing". The question is what does Evans think is the "next big thing". He's not a dumbass. LSU is a legitimate contender with burro this year. But burro is going to be gone soon. A&M is trendy but has done nothing under Jimbo but what the talent level should have done.

If I were him I'd go to Bama and wait my turn if it's an NC that he wants. A&M should be a ten win team in 2020. All BS aside I couldn't guess how far LSU is going to freefall after this season. Several key players are going to the NFL. Etc. And I'm not knocking LSU. A solid crew that finally found a QB1.

LSU isn't going to free fall. That's just wishful thinking on your part.

Take that thought, put it in a folder and file it under "Wishful Thinking" .
