why did you randomly capitalize point

Duke's near the bottom of the ACC so talking about Alabama beating Duke doesn't mean anything unless you think beating Duke is a good win and ACC is tough.

This discussion got kicked off with a LSU fan sneering about Clemson playing Wofford, one of two non P5 teams on Clemson's schedule. LSU has played 3 teams like Wofford.

I pointed out Clemson is about the only program to play two P5 programs out of conference. The only other I can think of is Florida. I"ll give Pitt UCF to go with Penn State.

I have never stated that I have a problem with LSU being ranked no. 1 or ahead of Clemson so what is the issue.

i sincerely think SEC fans exxagerate the toughness of their schedule every season. it's a crutch.

i have never heard Clemson basketball fans complain about how unfair it is they play in ACC against programs like duke, unc, lville and uva.

You brought up the fact that Clemson beat Auburn in 2017 (when Auburn beat Bama to win the SECw).

During that season:
- Auburn beat Alabama by 8 points.
- Clemson beat Auburn by 8 points.
- Auburn beat Georgia once (by 23 points in the regular season) and lost to Georgia once (by 21 points in the SECCG).
- Georgia went to the national championship and lost to Alabama by 3 points in overtime.
- Alabama beat Clemson by 18 points in the semifinals.

Based on the outcomes I think it’s safe to say that all four of these teams were really good, and that they would have all been expected to compete with each other on any given Saturday.

Knowing that, let’s say you could pick any three teams in the ACC and replace them with Georgia, Alabama, and Auburn. Would the 2017 Clemson team have been more or less likely to make the playoff?

there you go again. No one says it is unfair, just more challenging.

The ACC is a great basketball conference that is bolstered by the love the media has for Duke and UNC. You don’t see the rest of the world bitching about it. It is what it is.
