I would like to see
-8 team playoff
-Autobids for each Power 5 champ
-One at-large slot reserved specifically for a non-P5 team (like UCF last year. This team would usually be the 8 seed)
-Two at-larges for the two best non conference-winning teams in the nation.
-Quarterfinal games (1v8, 2v7, 3v6, 4v5) played at home fields of the higher seeds. Motivation for teams to go for the top 4 for homefield advantage. Semis and finals continue as currently formatted.

I like this idea.
I’d add scrap the committee for the BCS computers or some modified version for the non-automatic qualifiers and I’d say it’s perfect.
