Saban is still at Alabama, and he's still recruiting very well. So no, Alabama's not going anywhere anytime soon. However, I do think some teams are catching up fast. Clemson is also recruiting lights out right now.

I expect Saban to retire either after this season or the next. He would like to go out on top, but speaking to several Bama boosters they are already looking for his replacement

I don't think he wants to deal with the grind much longer

This is all part of the plan for the SEC and ESPN. Write opinion pieces about the demise of the Tide. Gives Saban something to motivate his team with. Gives him something to whine about..... aiiigghttt?

And, if they win out, then it’s all “Look at me!” We’re still here. Blah, blah, blah....

It’s all Tide propaganda to make a sympathetic case for the committee.
