We needed a coach that had a chip on his shoulder and had a reputation as a great recruiter and Muschamp fit that to a T. Giving him a 18-20 million buyout took away any motivation for him to fire friends or succeed. His contract should have been written where he was paid for wins only.

Gospel.

I don't have an issue with hiring him. I understand the rationale.

But the buyout. Good heavens.

Yeah, I completely understand the reasoning behind the hire. It's the ridiculous, and downright laughable, contract that I don't understand. We really need to move on from Muschamp, it's painfully obvious to anyone not named Ray Tanner. I don't care if you are down everyone, you should be able to run the ball against that defensive line.

I disagree with this completely
