Ed O was about like Mullen now. Improving some but had a hurdle he couldnt get close to(Bama)

So this offseason that man changed and look now...LSU has a real shot in one years time.

Mullen doesnt need a new offensive mind. His need is to look across the field and realize RECRUITING matters.

First target? Urban Meyer. Not joking. He has been heavily talking up and about UF this year. Urban coming back as say recruiting coordinator would instantly change UF into a title contender in 2 years. Now it may seem like a pipe dream but Urban clearly has a love for UF. He is very close with Dan. I think he is done with the head coaching angle unless he wants to try pros.

Now obviously this will be tough for Dan. Every game he does poorly you will hear "promote Meyer"...but it would solve our major issue. We dont have the talent to go four quarters with elite teams.

Firing Grantham wont fix this. Firing English wont fix this. Mullen HAS to put a larger priority on recruitingi immediately. We cant just out coach everyone..and we arent out coaching everyone.

That would be an absolute game changer if you can get Urban back. I think he's in line for the USC job though so I'm not sure he'd turn down the money they'll offer him.

Urban will never go to the NFL. Never. The grind would kill him. Coaches work late and never see their families. Him as an assistant at UF? Don't think that's a reality.

Next years schedule sets up much better for a SEC run than this year's did, but if UF doesn't beat UGA it doesn't matter, and they aren't beating UGA next year if Fromm comes back (and probably won't even if he leaves).

It does, but I agree. We saw what five star vs three star Oline looks like in this game. Though I'll be honest our defense was very strong against the run most of the game was very impressed.

But then we once again went SOFT ZONE on third downs. I never in my life have seen a good so good on first and second down than tank on third down as often as we did. That was all on Grantham(and English for his dumb arse subs).
