Hard to feel positive about the future with another defensive meltdown and another loss in a winner take all game against Georgia.
It’s not just defense either. Our play calls in short yardage were garbage yesterday too.
At least McElwain won a few winner take all games.

UGA will continue to run the East for the next 2-3 years.
Recruiting will show up BIG time next year and unless Mullen changes that, UF will not beat UGA.
Mullen had a golden opportunity to take control and change the direction for both programs yesterday, and shat the bed.

We cant have knee jerk reactions....although you have generally been pessimistic all year. You CAN be positive....but it would require a total makeover for you.
Right now we can hope for 10-2 finish and a great bowl matchup to go 11-2....finish in the top ten.

You know how big the talent gap is in the trenches between UF and UGA right now?
Guess what: Next year it will be WORSE.
We aren't beating UGA if Fromm comes back next year, and even if he leaves, we probably don't.

Yea Fromm coming back basically screws us next year. Hoping he goes pro but he has family money he may not. Our secondary may be insanely bad next year. If English isnt fired this offseason we are in deep trouble.
The man sucks at recruiting, sucks at developing, and his safety rotation cost us at least 7 points a game. Leave the two best safeties in and be done with it you fricking idiot.

I called 9-3 this season with losses to LSU, UGA, and Mizzou.
Depending on how things go, we may be one better than my initial prediction, but so far, things have gone pretty much just like I thought.
This coaching staff, especially on defense, isn't good enough to make up for their lack of depth and talent. They don't adapt. They sit in soft zones and get shredded. And even our offensive genius is STUPID on short yardage situations.
The only thing that matters is getting to Atlanta and we SHAT THE BED AGAIN.

This secondary sucks in zone, and has been shredded by decent QBs when they do it.
If they are going to sit in zone they might as well blitz more, but we aren't even doing that.

And then the final blow? A busted coverage... in zone...
