If Mac Jones can work the pocket, and make accurate throws I think yall will be fine. It's my opinion that he won't be able to sustain that all game. It was the same deal with Trask. He threw for over 300 yards against LSU at home, but he completed only about half of his throws, and I think that was the difference late in the game.

If Mac consistently gets the ball into his playmakers hands, especially downfield, it will be a battle.

My predictions:

With Tua: Bama 49 - LSU 45
Without Tua: LSU 48 - Bama 38

Either way, I think this is going to be one of the better matchups of the past decade.

Maybe not. Then again he missed ONE pass against Arkansas, Jeudy for a long touchdown. Other than that his incompletions were drops or throw aways.

Now that being said, LSU is a COMPLETELY different animal than Arkansas. I would fear interceptions if he threw at Stingley much at all. That kid is something special.

The game changer was UF using Jones between the 20’s late in the game instead of Trask. They lost that possession and ran out of time. Had they scored on the goal one where Jones had success it’s a one possession game. Had Trask been in on that bad possession I think it comes down to the wire.
