Completely agree with you. I didn't realize the fan base was really like that until after the Braves lost. I can't tell you how many soccer head co-workers and acquaintances came up to me or messaged me about "ATL UTD baby, they win unlike your shitty baseball team! Go Five Stripes, come to the soccer side."
It was almost like they were reveling in their niche sport still being the only team with recent championship success. It's beyond stupid.

I don't understand how those people can't cheer for the other Atlanta teams. Unless they're just a transplant who picked up United after they came here, it makes no sense.
