Why do people love Dino Babers so much

I keep seeing his name pop up with coaching rumors all the time but dont get why everyone loves him so much. To me he is not much (if any) better than a Bill Clark level coach.

S-Y-R-A-C-U-S-E. He wins games there. Football games. Not all of them, but enough to get some looks for sure.

Isn't Bill Clark also one of the more talked about coaches for possible job openings? I would think being on his level is a good thing.

he had one decent year of 10 wins rest of them not too good. I dont see him being an upgrade to many of the current SEC coaches.

I dont get the fascination with Bill Clark either but my fellow tiger fans seem to love him. I agree with some if he did not coach in state no one who know who he was.

He was on a nice trajectory coming into this season but they've been awful in 2019.
