Cool. If you can do that and stay employed that means that at the very least you are competent at your job. I am glad you can focus ample time on your family. But to focus on your dumb shite first statement..... hard working men who are forced to be away from their family is NOT the reason the world is in it's current shape. Deadbeat dads who stop and pop a woman but refuse to raise and/or provide for the child are the problem. Dads who bust their arse in the military or at factory jobs or working shite shifts as an emergency personnel or doctors etc. are not the problem. My father came from a garbage background. His dad left him when he was 4 and his mother married a drunk abusive POS when he was 6. In between the beatings he was responsible for raising his two sisters. He dropped out of high school and took a job at a saw mill when he was 16. Because of this he never was able to obtain a great job like you seem to think everyone has. He busted his arse working multiple shifts at different factories so my mom could quit her job and raise me and my brother. He'd try and make it to as many sporting events and school related things as possible but he'd end up falling asleep in the stands because he was worn out. Not once did I hate my father or resent him working hard for me. He taught me the value of hard work and because of him i earned my way into The University of Arkansas and became the first college graduate in my family. So yeah...... dad's who sacrifice for their family is not the problem. And to see a man who makes millions of dollars (Morris) take such a lackadaisical - who gives shite attitude - while others sacrifice is pretty disgusting. But I digress - this wouldn't a problem if he did his job at a competent level.

Since we were formerly speaking specifically of CCM, you have now changed the narrative a bit. Wealthy men, (CCM) who take everything for their company, job, coaching, etal… and don't show an ounce of care for their family is a major problem. We have loads of evidence for this in our society.

Now... with what you said, absolutely correct as well. I said "One of the reasons" not the completeness of it all.

I have a great amount of respect for your Dad by what you said and was raised much the same way. My dad worked his rear off, and found time in simple ways to be there for his kids. We dug worms and went fishing at the creek, etc.

Fathers who don't take the responsibility of being a Dad is the majority of the issue regardless of financial well being IMHO.

thanks for sharing....
