The way it's shaping up right now, the SEC's path to getting two teams into the play-off is very narrow. Clemson is a lock to make it and Oklahoma seems close to being a lock. If either Ohio State, Penn State, or Wisconsin wins out, they're in. They're not going to take a second SEC team over an undeafeated Power 5 champ; and it's doubtful they'll take one over a 1-loss Power 5 champ, particularly if it's a blue-blood...

So barring some strange outcomes, which have happened in past years, I think it's looking like the SEC only gets one team in this year...
