the technique of a seasoned veteran would outweight the physical advantage for all but the most polished college player. I think an all-SEC team would be favored against a decent amount of those pre-1980s champions if given a couple of months to gel as a team. They'd also need the best of the best from around the conference coaching them.

A 260 270 pound man trying to block someone weighing 320 that is physically stronger and faster is going to be in BIG trouble, play after play.

Even a Butkus at 250 taking on a 330 pound guard is going to have problems. Bama's guards this year weigh 340 and 360.
