Agree to disagree, then. Alabama would be in [almost] as bad of shape as Tennessee today if it weren't for that hire.
Emphasis on almost- Alabama's AD doesn't let the mob pull the strings. Of course, in 2007, the mob couldn't stage a coup via social media.

There is really nothing to disagree about. You can make an unarguable statement that he resurrected our program. There is not a way to factually argue that he "made" a program who already had the richest history in the sport prior to his arrival.
