Imagine what skill you could learn if you hadn't invested so much time and energy into Alabama basketball.

That one year we drew Indiana when we were probably the 2nd best team in the country......damn

I might be wrong about that. I just remember my Grandpa bitching about Indiana

Pain like this will just make the eventual good years orgasmic. There will be good years. There. Will. Be . Good. Years.

Recently started cycling. Plan on doing work on the trainer for basketball and Braves games.

I usually study techinical stuff while watching baseball on mute. You only need to look up every couple pitches.

My first year I watched Alabama basketball we lost to South Alabama in the NCAAt whose best player was a Hispanic named Gabe Estrada. I’ve been in pain ever since

Unfortunately I will doubt they are happening and once I finally accept we are good and legit we'll be bad again.

You’re right.

That was during the CM Newton years

I really do want to be done with Bama basketball. I know I won’t be able to do that but I’d be a much happier person on the two days out of the week that they come to ruin shite.

I agree. I'm actually encouraged. Teams under Grant and Avery had given up a lead like that it would have turned into a blowout by the end. Oats has the team headed in the right direction. I think at this point it's a talent and depth issue. With Quinerly, Rojas, and Gary this would probably be a tournament team.

People always ask my wife if I get angry at Alabama football when they do bad and she quickly tells them that I'm calm and quiet during football games......it's Alabama basketball and the Braves when I need drugs.

I watched us lose by 20 in Columbia to an awful South Carolina team in like 2006 at my future in laws house (wife and I were in school and dating)......
.....I think they almost refused my marriage request.

I had this optimism back in the late 80s early 90s. Years of pain have followed

I mean, this was literally the biggest comeback in Florida home history.

I'm going to have trouble being encouraged that we didn't go from 20 up to 20 down

I'll take what I can get lol. Maybe I'm wrong but as I understand it the system Oats runs requires a pretty deep rotation because of the high pace and speed at which the offense runs. Without that depth we're probably going to continue to see us flag down the stretch in games.
