In the SEC you have the historic "six" and getting beat up week by week in that meat grinder means you get some extra losses and players lost for the season making that alpha spot in a given year that more elusive. Right now Dabo can be prepping the Taters for their playoff game. SEC schools still have a season to grind through then a competitive SEC CCG.
Alabama has no problem with that "meatgrinder".

No shite..Last year their average margin of victory in the SEC was 33 points...hardly a meat grinder...
