That is so shitty, but everyone with eyeballs could see something is wrong with Ryan in the last game. I’m assuming since he is still playing that the doctors say it won’t get worse if he wants to play through it. I feel like if Ryan’s accuracy is off during the UK game we should just redshirt him and let Dak be the guy

frick CT. I was banned over there before for being a realist. Well maybe not banned for that but definitely shunned for not being a sunshine pumper. I was banned for calling out the mods though. It wasn't until just recently I got unbanned by reaching out on Facebook, and then it tanked.

I got banned long ago from CT. Back in 2012, actually. That's when I joined tRant and I love it here. The cut throat banter is fun imho. You talk about needing thick skin...being a female meant some incredibly harsh hazing but when they saw it didn't phase me (and I'm meaner than they are plus I think fart jokes are hilarious) they chilled and I'm just one of the guys now.
And IBG..you've been in fairly generic threads over there. I have seen them say some things to you about a few of the threads you've started but they have been unusually nice to you. It's an extremely hostile environment for women and it's usually pretty vicious catfights between the females that give it the reputation that it has. It isn't nearly as bad as it used to be. Paige was hell on wheels for a long time. I mean it was bad. She's chilled out a shite ton. I'm sure you've noticed Oweo (who is currently banned for the 83737266627728th time) is the punching bag over there.

I’ve created an alter ego on the OTL
That I’m a BAW
Basically what my avi pic is.
That’s basically what 90% of them are over there.
Sometimes I’m in character, sometimes I’m just myself
I basically love shitting on New Orleans , Houston, Baton Rouge, Birmingham and St Louis

shite. We can't get out of our own way when it comes to injuries. Geez. I'm on the fence when it comes to RS him. Yes we need him to have our best chance of winning but we don't want to blow a RS bcuz he gets hurt after week 5 or 6.
Our doctors are as good as anyone's I guess. And Muschamp, or no Muschamp, I can's see a Doctor giving the Ok to play Hilinski if it clearly isn't possible.
Look some of these require immediate surgery. Some of them will get better on their own, even if you play on them. (It helps that throwing a football is nowhere near as much of a strain on your arm as a baseball.)
Sometimes these injuries can be acerbated by another injury, or just from use. If that happens I have every confidence the Doctors will pull the plug on it, whatever anyone on the coaching staff wants. Or even Hilinski himself wants. Not on our watch.
But we don't know how effective he is going to be throwing. He looked like crap slinging it until the halftime cortisone shot, or whatever that was.
To be honest, that backwards pass/fumble was a bonehead play, but I can see lots of guys mess that up. It happened in a split second.
His bad throw in the end zone is more troubling, but over time I've seen lots of guys, and not just freshmen make that mistake. So growing pains? Bentley never seemed to grow out of them.
But make no mistake, this guy has the best arm we have ever had here. It's like Blake Mitchell's but better. Dondrial Pinkins probably could sling it further and harder, but by no means was he in the same ballpark as a passer with the other two guys.
Hopefully Hilinski will progress. If he does, he will probably leave after his junior year. I'm not joking about that, he has all the physical tools, size, arm, some athleticism, plus he doesn't let things get to him.
If he progresses (unlike Bentley) he's gone in two more years.
So if the Doctors ok it, let him try to play.

He technically can play 1 more game to test it out..
If it looks like bad news for him I believe he just may rs..
Our season would go down in flames but its kinda hopeless anyway..we could at least save his year..
No way we win more than 5 games, regardless..

Id rather have him and Doty separated by 2 years if at all possible, but his health is primary to the ideal situation.

When it comes down to UCL injuries that inevitably lead to a Tommy John surgery it would be devastating to RH's season. In this case it is highly unlikely the RH has an UCL injury. UCL injuries are from excessive supination (over supination) of the forearm. QBs are taught to throw with pronation on the follow through making a UCL injury unlikely with a throwing motion. Any baseball player on here that has ever thrown a curve ball can attest to that. Even being hit and landing on the arm it would have be at a crazy weird angle to cause any damage or aggravation to that UCL.
Now I am not in their training room, but my opinion (I'm a DPT) would be that he threw a lot of balls during the Bama game and to me it looks like more of an over use injury. The forearm flexors and pronators were strained (indicating mild muscle and tendon tearing) and the inability to pronate while throwing was causing his inaccuracies. They probably gave him a shot of toradol at half time to decrease pain and inflammation.
I have no inside information (that's why I come here) but that's pretty much what it looked like in the first half to me. The dude definitely was injured.
Sorry for the long intellectual post, I'll try to dumb the next ones down a lot more.

I didn't even think toradol at half, if you go back and watch the last drive off the bama game you will see the hit I'm referring to. Again I could be wrong, on that hypothesis. But the way he was missing was reminiscent of the 2 guys I saw with a ucl injury pitch, again I'm no expert, just stating an observation I had. I also understand vastly different throwing styles.

Even though throwing motions are very similar in football and baseball they actually tend to be a very different monster. Throwing a football, especially deeper throws, you really want that pronation of the forearm to bring the nose of the foot ball down during it's trajectory. In baseball, you get a lot of supination of the forearm to generate spin for curves, sliders, etc...
The toradol is just a speculation on my part. If RH comes out slinging it against UK like we saw him before Mizzou than I would venture I was probably correct. If not, take a big fat dump on my post.

I know its a different motion, but misses are going to look somewhat similar, ie over throws less zip and wide due to the elbow compensating slightly.

Couldn't agree with you more.

The lack of downfield shots last night has my attention and wondering if this issue is still brewing under the surface.

And I'll add this. My account over there started as a "joke" . Back when we were beating them, a few folks on CT had a group that was going to pull an April Fools joke on that site. The idea was that a bunch of us would infiltrate the site and all UV each other. Then on April fools day we'd spring the trap. The story was going to be that the NCAA was going to investigate the Bellamy flashing cash photos.
I think it basically fell apart when a good portion of the folks couldn't keep up the ruse and started talking trash and got banned.

Ohhhh I have an account over there. Made it not too long ago. The level of arrogance and utter obnoxious behavior over there makes my skin crawl. But it's hilarious to see them deny we mean anything to them when every other thread is about us. I'm shocked I haven't been banned yet. Some of the things I've seen them post about Hilinski have enraged me. Just disgusting shite making fun of the way he celebrates and chooses to remember Tyler. They had several threads about that after the Bama game and one of them in particular had some extremely petty, scum of the earth comments.

The irony that CG got banned on CT and not on Taternet.

Isn’t going over there and trolling the same thing they do?
