I remember standing on the southwest ramp and calling the man and putting $5000 on Auburn -2 1/2 the 2nd half. Monday I get a call informing me that my limit was $1000 for 2nd half lines and that the bet shouldn’t have been booked. I agreed to the $1k win and took my winnings and didn’t bitch too much.

The next week Tebow was supposed to had been out with a concussion so I loaded up on whoever they played, I think it was Kentucky. Tebow played and I got slaughtered. I think I was a loser on 15 of of 16 bets that Saturday. I stiffed the man for about 4K that week and had got threatening voice messages for close to two years.

I was living it up in the student section during my first senior year (and thankful I took 5 years because Cam and Nasty Nick F, dammit!). Never left my seat during the storm and not sure I’ve ever felt that same pre-game atmosphere again!!

One random thing I’ve never been able to shake from my mind during that storm though was some fella jamming to Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus with his shirt off. Played on the Jumbotron and students were loving it but that one guy was feeling it extra.

Was sitting with my wife in the very top of section 22 the whole time. She had brought in a cheap poncho and tried to share it with me, but I eventually gave up and just gave in to the rain.

That still may have been the most fun I've ever had at an Auburn game, and I went through 2010 and 2013.

I think I recall Michael Dyer saying that seeing everyone sitting in the rain cheering is what solidified his decision to commit.
