NFL is corporate welfare. Some of the richest folks in the USA yet they put the taxpayers on the dole to pay for their stadiums. They will not create a minor league as they are too cheap to pay for it out of their own pocket.

I get you are a progressive cultist, but no city is forced to play for a stadium. Supply and demand. It is something some cities believe they have to have in order to attract tourist dollars. And it is the cities pushing using taxpayer dollars...not "government" money. Since there are a limited amount of teams then they have to sweeten the deal to win the team. Basic economics. NFL does not OWE. YOU. SH!T.

Now get back on topic you filthy neo-marxist.

Actually, the opposite

Extremely fiscally conservative

I was raised by folks that experienced adult life in the Great Depression and World Wars.

Actually they are. Owner threatens to move coupled with the "cache" for local politicians to rub elbows with the rich and famous.

I have no problem with that, however, the opposite should apply that I don't pay taxes to subsidize some multi billionaire so he can get richer and I can not afford to attend a game.

It is all the same topic!

Let college go to amateur athletics and let the pros foot the bill for the farm teams. Just don't use my tax dollars to enrich their pockets. In a free market you trade time in college for exposure and a no debt education. Getting all that and paid on top is just excessive greed and based on agents, lawyers, and girlfriends getting a cash percentage where a degree is 100% to the athlete.
