Iirc, Bama's most successful offensive lines had some fire in their bellies.

2012, I distinctly remember Fluker getting angry and ripping the other offensive lineman after a running play went nowhere in the third quarter against UGA. Bama proceeded to shove the ball down their throats on the next drive. That was the same year that Barret and McCarron got into it on the field against ND. I want to say I remember some offensive lineman getting an attitude in 2015 too. Which is the year that oline helped Henry win a Heisman.

It's somewhat bothered me the last few years how extensive the methodical and business-like approach our offensive linemen have, has been. Not allowing your emotions to control you is all well and good, but not having any fire 99% of the time, makes it hard to turn on that mean streak when you need it. Especially when you need that extra push on a 4th and 1 late in the 4th quarter when you're exhausted.

So far, I like Dickerson. This team needs some personality. Nick got mad at the refs because he wants the kids to have fun. Well, to have fun requires personality, and it's nice to see some.

Some of y'all are too old school for your own good. Hell, I'm half expecting someone to start saying the players are getting soft because they are allowed to drink water during practice.
