That was fantastic.
I know he made a lot of turnovers in that game but I doubt he does that every week.

I hate it when "Gator fans on twitter blast a kid, and if you read some of the review its clear Ms Franks isn't happy about how some are sending pure shite messages. Its stuff like that causes pause at what recruits think of the "Gator fans".
Slayer I only attribute two turnovers on Franks, the last pick he explained he was trying to throw it out of bounds and pressure in front of him and a hit from behind made the interception possible, but still his fault. The pass that was tipped by Swain wasn't intended for him but rather another WR just a few yds away and open. The pitchout to Davis was not his fault. The fumble deep in miamuh territory was his fault. That's only two turnovers.
After we go 6-0 a lotta folks will sing a different tune. Franks hasn't shoplifted crab legs, out soda in ketchup cups at Burger King and hasn't been accused of rape....or assaulting a female cab driver in Tampa. Then look at Mr Heisman Baker Mayfield who was arrested for being drunk, grabbing his stuff at a game or many incidents throughout the country.
I used to love the color analyst for ESPN and now he throws crap at us...why? Is it because we canned his OC at Bama MacElwain? Yep.

Unfortunately, this is a fan base that doesn't like demonstrative QB's unless they are playing damn near perfect.

Slayer I agree with your statement and with some of his antics I can see why some of the fanbase just wants someone else period would like to take it a bit further.
As I have posted in the past there are some people that if Franks were to go 22 of 24 with 330 yards and 4 TD's (mainly Straws) there would basically be a full page long meaningless novel on the 2 incompletions about how his technique was bad and his body language was off and his head wasn't in the game and he needs to do a better job getting the ball out of his hands quicker had a sidearm delivery scrambled out of the pocket too soon and so on

i kinda agree. and i use that deep ball to hammond as an example. does he make that throw last year or not? because i remember alot of overthrown balls to open receivers.

Franks may have made that pass last year . It seems like consistency is his issue . IMO Mullen is starting him because of his natural talent , experience , poor OL , his confidence , keep Jones confidence up . We have seen a lot of talented QBs come here and suck . With this OL Franks May be our best option. We only have one QB behind him who is young and may not be ready to start.

I'll support whoever is starting. I don't take it as a personal insult like some ppl on here.
Ofcourse I'd like to see Jones play, but if he's not ready ...
