If the same two teams that showed up yesterday face off, it's going to be a close game. Clemson D was average. Lawrence was a bit better than average, but not close to his championship standard. Travis E and receivers were elite. O Line was very good. A&M can play with Clemson.

I wouldn't say our D was average. There are holes there for sure at this point in the year. In obvious passing situations our DEs are elite. In 2 years, XT will be a top 10 pick if he stays healthy.

DT and LB are the biggest holes I see right now. LBs will show up where they need to be, but match them up in man coverage against a TE or slot receiver and they will struggle. DT is not bad, but they won't be as good as last year. Secondary wasn't tested much, but make no mistake... this secondary is filthy good.

One thing I saw from GT was that they seemed to have a good handle on what we were trying to do on offense. Lawrence's stats had as much to do with play calling as anything. I think more teams have a really good idea of our tendencies and how to attack us.

If A&M can establish the run, it will be a close game. I don't think there is much to take away from their game aginst directional U. I am sure it was intentionally vanilla across the board and they will bring some wrinkles.
