Watching chip ahoy get beaten by Cincy and out of the clear blue Matt Hasselback 17 year veteran ex QB in the NFL stated this:

" love what Franks is doing...he faced a very tough miamuh defense."

Of course Straws is going to be fricking negative...but hell, he/she knows more about QBs than a 17 year veteran in the NFL.

Now Straws is telling the board that basically he/she willmake our lives miserable with same ole shite hate for Franks. Straws needs a mental health professional. he/she isn't a fan...she/he probably nole/dawg/vol person trying to be a super a**hole.

Im always more saddened to realize that those posts probably took over an hour to put together. Straws has issues, i think Franks banged his woman, this hatred is beyond football

I personally prefer Heisman winning, 9 years in the NFL, National Championship Winning -- 30 year QB coach's take on Franks.

Franks could be Zach Wilson vs Utah.

I just want to have a QB who I can be confident to be decent every game and stop worrying about which guy is going to show up.

If he plays like he did on Saturday against a team with a functioning offense, we will lose by double digits.

Did he say what he loved about his game? He didn’t look so hot vs Miami outside of the one deep ball.

No Peter he didn't...he was part of the broadcast crew doing the Cincy-UCLA game. Franks did more than just 1 big pass play...but overall he didn't do well...unless you peek under the veil and see the actual moving parts I guess.

BTW Trevor Lawrence is not the GOAT...he threw 2 picks against Ga Tech and Im sure someone on a tiger forum is ranting and raving about how bad he is Its a good thing Straws isn't a Clemson fan...huh?

How did Fromm look against LSU last year? That's a serious question...Im sure dawgs run game was stopped ?

He threw a nice screen pass to Toney that any high school qb in America could make. What else did he do well Saturday?

That's an odd comparison considering TL has had some huge games against big teams.

He was throwing into the teeth of the defense. And no, they didn't stop our run game at all. Our coaching was bad that game which I've criticized them about before. It's part of the reason I'm glad Chaney is gone.

I agree with Straws that Franks is maddening to watch play QB. I disagree with him that another QB would be better. Also I can't stand all the mugging for the cameras after a TD, but that is kind of a culture thing with the young folks. I am more a buttoned down guy when it comes to that stuff. I want it to fire up the team, but the game is not over, so save it for the live action. The dance is after the game.

Peter the Lawrence reference was tongue in cheek, take that fish hook out of your mouth

BTW Mond had two turnovers against Texas freaking State or "sisters of the poor"

Mond has no neck...where did it go? Seriously he has no neck.

I suggest reviewing the entire miamuh game film and see some good things and bad things Franks did....also note the pressure from the right side. The LOT Forsthye has had 3 starts before this year...Heggie LOG has had 7 starts and center Buchanan started all 13 games last year. The ROT and ROG have no starts (Delance and Bleich) and that's why pressure came from that side.

Peter you should know enough that that no run game equals poor QB play in most cases...we weren't playing Paul Johnson's defense (it will take Collins a few years to correct) and weren't playing sisters of the poor.

The important thing is we are 1-0 and have another week to play UT Martin and then UK after that. Hopefully we improve a lot by UK and can run the ball better...if not then we will be subpar, but doubt that happens, our OL coach is coaching em up and I expect better things.

Nah, I watched the whole thing Saturday. I asked your opinion on what he did well I'm not saying he played terrible but I don't remember too many good plays.

I'm well aware of how one affects the other but he was missing open receivers and in some cases his throws were way off the mark.

Peter the off target throws are some of the bad things. But pressure because of no run game made him also look bad at times. I wont say he had a great game...he didn't. miamuhs defense did cause a lot of our problems.

Every team will have games like we had and will be lucky to escape with a W. One thing you probably don't know is the history of the UF-miamuh games. They want the game 25 x more than we do. They are the poor kids and we are the rich kids with all the toys. They do not have much of a fan base and when they play games in their rent a stadium against NC State or Wake Forest, they have to give away tix to boys clubs, youth leagues etc etc to keep the stadium from 8,000 attendance. They have no $$$$, private school and no donors except for classless ponzi schemers like Shapiro.

bullshite pressure made him make bad throws. He was sacked once. He was hurried only three time.

I have never seen a fan base so willfully blind over a player.

Well, reel did talk shite about me in the OP so I came to respond.

Trust me, a win against Miami was the best outcome.

My only worry is that this level of QB play can make us have a very mediocre season and that we will never win a Championship with it.

If we lost last night, it would literally erase our entire previous season -- all of the gains we made in the state. We wouldn't even be able to recruit Florida because a little cherry HC came in and beat us.

We were fortunate to win that game, but will we be so fortunate against Georgia, LSU, Auburn and Missouri? 3 turnovers to any of those teams will result in a blowout.

If you guys don't want to talk football, definitely don't aim that talk toward me.
