In Mississippi, No. 3 Brandon beat No. 1 Starkville 27-21.

Is it really a shock that the 3rd ranked team beat the top team by 6 points though?

Also Noxubee County beating Louisville 2-0 must have been a true slog to sit through in person. No, I'm not knocking football in the state of Mississippi when I say that, I've sat through some real dull games here as well.

Yes, imagine LSU beating Bama.

Probably a dull game, but both teams are really good. Noxubee year in and year out has elite defenses. The score was odd so I included it.

Brandon beating Starkville isn't a huge ranking upset, but many thought Starkville would be a 15-0 powerhouse this year. Like someone said, imagine LSU beating Bama level upset.

Heritage players are slaying so much poon this weekend. They've had a nice little program building but to beat Jackson Prep is a different level. That's Georgia Southern beating Alabama level.
