The NCAA views hired University employees cheating as basically LOIC.

Something you should know.

The Mizzou tutor was a University employee

The Mississippi State tutor was NOT an employee of the University

You REALLY don't see why you would punish an institution more if it was one of their employees perpetrating the infraction?

I’m at a loss too. It’s all semantics.

To be clear, I’m not saying MSU should receive punishment equal to what Missouri was given. I do think that Mizzou’s punishment was cruel, unjust, and excessively severe.

Maybe it’s time for schools to bring back a curriculum in which top flight student athletes can meet academic requirements via attendance and not through exams/quizzes/essays, etc.

Let the kids who want a real education pursue one. Let the kids using college as a stepping stone to a professional athletic career do their thing.

IDK. Seems the NCAA feels the need to make examples of lower-tiered P5 schools for no other reason than to maintain the facade of amateurism in college athletics.

Sucks and I totally empathize with the schools on the receiving end of the NCAA’s broomstick.
