The 2016 roster is what Clemson won the NC with.Less than 50% Blue Chips.(39 out of 79 scholarship athletes)

They lost their 2 best offensive linemen to the draft.
More importantly they lost to the NFL 2 5* and 2 4* D-Linemen that comprised what may be the best unit in CFB history (3 of that line went in the first 17 picks).
Talent matters more than anything else in CFB. Nobody could just replace that kind of production, and Clemson hasn't recruited as well as many others. People thinking this is just going to be plug and play situation are delusional.
