Pod mates = 3 games
Pod 1 or 2 = 3 games
Other Pod (3 or 4) = 3 games
9 games total.
Now, WHEN do you play that 4th team from other pod, .....no clue.
Unless you go:
Y1 - ABC
Y2 - DAB
Y3 - CDA
Y4 - BCD
Unsure how that works with the 5H/4A & 4H/5A format.

But both pods 3 and 4 have 4 teams. The way OP structured it teams in pods 1 and 2 would play 9 games, teams in pods 3 and 4 would play 10 unless they skipped one of the teams from their permanent cross pod. Bottom line, the pod system only works if you can divide the teams evenly, so add 2 more teams.
