They all say that till their coach leaves. No one knows what will happen including Dabo.

You know, now that I look at it a second time (after my eyes stopped burning from the first time), it's kind looks like this guy...

The ACC was literally setup so that one team can come along and play nobody good, win a slew of conference titles, then in about a decade drop off the face of the earth.

We'll upgrade his wardrobe.

I don't know for sure of course but I really don't see Dabo going to Alabama, especially not right after Saban. I guess it could be possible if the first coach after Saban gets fired after a few seasons but he has almost a free ride to the playoffs every year in the ACC so I don't think it would be a wise move for him.

Alabama is home to Dabo but it’s not home to his children. They grew up in South Carolina. I bet Mrs Dabo is treated like a queen around Clemson and the kids probably have it made there too. I can see the dinner table family discussion with Dabo maybe wanting to go home but the wife and kids will be like “naw dad, we’re good here in the Palmetto State.

Sounds a lot like the SEC. Did anyone in the SEC come within 17 points of Bama in the regular season last year?

His "kids" are already in college, will have graduated by the time Coach Saban likely hangs it up.

I’d love for him to come home obviously I’m just tempering my expectations and hope.

SEC Teams with National Titles 1998-2018:
Alabama
Auburn (2010 winner, 2013 runner-up)
Florida (2009 winner)
LSU (2007 winner)
Tennessee (1998 winner)
ACC Teams:
Florida State (dropped off the face of the Earth after 2013)
Clemson
Last time in the Top 10 for each team:
Alabama 2018
Arkansas 2012
Auburn 2017
Florida 2016
Georgia 2017
Kentucky 2007
LSU 2016
Mississippi State 2014
Missouri 2013
Ole Miss 2015
South Carolina 2014
Tennessee 2016
Texas A&M 2016
13 out of 14 schools have been in the Top 10 since 2007. 11 out of 13 in the past 5 years.
Less luck finding data on ACC teams, but all I could determine was that Clemson, Miami, Florida State and Louisville made the top 10 in the same time frame.
But yeah, the ACC is just as powerful.
