Pruitt's coaching ability notwithstanding, he was hired through an absolute shitshow of a coaching search that involved a botched hiring of Schiano, a fired AD mid-search, and got Dave Doeren(??!?),among others, an undeserved raise. By every available metric, UTk's coaching search was worse than USC's, and Pruitt was far lower down the list of candidates for that gig than Muschamp was for USC's. I don't think either coach is going to be successful at their respective jobs.

You've proven you know dick all about your own program's coaching searches, so great job on being ignorant regarding everyone else's.
