Weird, I fully expected a football player to say "Yeah, our team has a lot of holes and questions, I think we are going 8-4."

He could've just said I think we're a pretty solid team instead of going nuclear and claiming they had the best everything. That's never good for a player to say no matter how good the team may be.

Of course not. But sometimes you are just better off keeping your mouth shut. Why leave yourself open like that? Can you imagine the trolls and ridicule if Auburn doesn't have a great year?
