Quixote's closes later this month, and with it goes its drink specials. I will miss the $3 wells and $1 tall boys dearly. Hoping the new bar Southeastern that's under construction carries the torch.

That is a seriously sketchy looking establishment.
Which means it’s probably filled with amazing memories.
Pour one out for the old, and raise a glass to the new.

As SEC towns become more affluent the sad side effect is bars like this close down. There are some dearly departed bars on Dickson Street that had that great college dive bar vibe going for them.

At the end of the day Auburn could do better with it's downtown scene. There is basically just skybar and everyone is packed in like sardines.

A friend of mine was one of the owners. Looking forward to the new bar.
