Early on under Saban we did that (rotate defensive lineman) but we had a few years we were lacking depth a bit and we got out of the habit. It killed us against Clemson every time. We absolutely need to play younger players starting in game one. Yes they are going to make mistakes, the goal is not to be the best football team in America in game one. you don't get anything for that, it's to be the best team in America by time you get to the final third of the season.

You're spot on. I hope we give these younger guys more reps earlier in games.
I know Anoma might have been a head case but sitting on the sideline watching the guys on the field barely able to move had to drive him and others crazy.
