Honestly, there's no blueprint for how to do college. Some kids are mature and develop/play immediately. Some kids get lost in college life or some pussy, and/or struggle with the transition. I can definitely tell you this: the transition from Gordo to Tuscaloosa is stark. And I'm sure his father's shadow looms large. Maybe old Ben just had some growing up to do. Whatever it is, I'm happy for him if the light has come on.

Yep, sometimes it takes a while for those that never had to work hard to be on top to figure out that it takes a lot of effort in several aspects to really excel.
I hope the light has come on and is burning bright for Ben and that he seizes his opportunity.
