This strikes me as a well intentioned thread by someone who doesn't know nearly as much about this as he thinks he does.
Note to any reading it: it's very easy to do all of this on Mac. It's 2019. Congrats on your nice machine. Take it from me, software engineer whose favorite sport to follow is la liga, which requires a lot of illegal streaming to follow. It's no problem at all.

He said he doesn’t have a Mac computer so he’s obviously not going know all the ends and outs of the programs.
