I wonder if Bama uses an indoor kicking simulator, similar to those indoor golf simulators.
It looks like at least one company has a football simulator, but not sure how sophisticated it is:

ETA: Maybe not too sophisticated since the first screen says "Throw!" and the football is on a kicking tee and the laces are facing in in the second photo
