ACC has won 3 out of the last 6 Football Championships with 2 different teams. Get back to me when the SEC achieves this in basketball.
Arkansas x 1 Kentucky x 2 94-98.
Florida x 2 Kentucky x1 06-12
Is that the response you were looking for?

Here's one for you ACC fan ...
Show us a year when the ACC won national championships in all three major men's sports.
I'll wait.
When you grow tired of looking ... maybe you'll want to try years when either conference won just two of the three major men's sports?
You own college basketball for the time being. Be happy with that although even your dominance in basketball does not compare to the SEC's dominance in football and baseball. And you don't even want to get into track and field or women's basketball or any of the other sports that our conferences' student athletes choose to endeavor to dominate.

My point about the 3 football championships in the last 6 years was to point out that the ACC has vastly improved in football in recent years. I'm not arguing that ACC football has matched the SEC in the last 10-20 years. I was responding to the comment that the ACC has consistently failed to even improve.
If you want to bring in the non revenue sports for comparison, I'll be happy to do so. The ACC has dominated in men's and women's soccer. Soccer is a much bigger and more popular sport than track and field and softball. UNC has won 21 women's soccer titles and feature 7 players currently playing in the World Cup. ACC dominates in lacrosse and many other sports. Check out the top 20 in the Director's cup each year and you will see numerous ACC teams.
UVA, UNC, Duke, BC and others feature 28 NCAA sports. Other than Florida, can any other SEC team compare in supporting that many teams? Of course not.

Thanks for waiting ... how about 2016. Clemson (football) UNC (Basketball) Coastal Carolina (baseball) ... Little known fact that CCarolina is an associate member of the ACC in baseball.
2018 Clemson (football) UVA (basketball)...had a chance for the trifecta in Baseball but Louisville imploded.
