I think he will. He's at a position that's pretty easy to get early playing time and I believe he's too good to sit for a year.
Not to mention, I hate to redshirt healthy running backs It's better to save it in case of injury down the road

I keep forgetting we signed Sophser. This kid has a fat face but has a great body and the frame to be an Adonis. People think he's fat because of his face but when you see him it's a different story. And, he plays like a dancing bear. He's special!
