Clemson was just a top 5 team, that had the benefit of an easy schedule, and prepared the whole month to beat Bama. That's it. If Clemson and Bama played in the regular season, the outcome wouldn't have been the same. Dabo is a good salesman and therefore really good as a college coach. However if he was an NFL coach, do you really think his tactics would make any difference?

There are so many stupid takes in this thread.
Clemson had the benefit of an easy schedule: Bama had a larger margin of victory during the regular season than Clemson. Bama wasn't challenged in the regular season, just like Clemson wasn't.
Tua struggled against the 2 elite defenses on his schedule. TL destroyed the only elite defense on his schedule.
Lastly, to the people referring to a "fluky" game....
People seem to forget that Clemson ended the game on a 90 yard drive that lasted 10 minutes and they chose not to score. Absolute domination. Bama had no answers.
Bama got out played and out coached. The whole yardage argument is absolutely absurd too. Our defensive coaches knew exactly what they were doing.
