1 of the things being talked about is bringing kids to your school. You are getting recruits because you are paying them to come to your school.

The other is where agents are trying to buy influence with future NFL players so that those players will hopefully sign with them when they leave college. It's unwanted by schools, and the schools do everything they can to prevent it from happening. Saban is on record bitching about shady agents, not on record talking about strong arse offers he made to get recruits.

It's the complete opposite and you don't seem to get it."

Again, Smart and his family were not paid according to what they stated to the ncaa investigators when interviewed. Apparently, the ncaa believed them and he was cleared to play. Naz Ried also denies being paid. If either were paid the amount that has been rumored it will be easy to disprove them.

Wade is allegedly heard on tape discussing an amount but isnt specific. If Smart and Reid or their families didn’t receive improper benefits then who did? (I do believe somebody was paid)

Do you think Wade actually had 300k to pay their asking price or do you think a 3rd party was involved? If the players didn’t receive the money, do you think a 3rd party was paid.

I don’t think the difference is as big as you believe.
