To come home and read this is surreal

That intersection of Samford and Shug Jordan is as barren as an intersection can be. Just don’t understand how a rear end collision can end like this. Absolutely tragic.

Some people are suggesting texting may have played a part, but I don't want to jump to any conclusions because when I was 16 I drove a POS 4runner and one time I was coming down a hill and my engine just shut off all of a sudden, my steering wheel and brakes both locked up, and I eventually coasted to a stop at the bottom of the hill without anything happening, but I went through multiple lanes before I stopped. If there had been anybody coming from the other direction or sitting at the light at the bottom of the hill I would have slammed right into them and there would have nothing I could've done. I got lucky as hell.

This really hurts. I've never been so upset before over the death of somebody I didn't personally know, I feel like I've lost a friend.
