What's anecdotal about that piece of information?
When it comes to assault, the police who told her that were wrong and need to review the mountain brook crime stats for 2018.
Mountain brook is considered the safest or second safest town in alabama.
There are about 20 thousand people who live in mountain brook. In 2018, there were 5 assaults and zero murders.
Your cousin's story is a statistical outlier. There are about 19,995 people (out of 20,000) in mountain brook who did not share a similar experience with your cousin last year.
5 assaults and zero murders in the city of mountain brook for 2018. That fact is not anecdotal.
But it's enough to warrant openly carrying a loaded gun.
