Why not just admit it and say you'd like to see it outlawed? The anti-gunners would appreciate it.

What exactly should anyone carrying a gun be afraid of?

Why do you do it?

I am a concealed carry guy 99% of the time. But I'd like for you to explain the most comfortable way to carry a Ruger Redhawk .44 Magnum concealed. I open carry that sometimes, on my own property. Should that be outlawed, as well?

I believe you are complaining about something that is a MUCH bigger issue online than it is in real life.

I live in one of the most gun-happy places in the country- and it's as rare as Bigfoot to see an open carrier where it causes a scene.

I don't want to see it outlawed. I'm simply curious as to the motivation.

The answer "because I can" is lazy minded and intellectually vacant. Unless of course the goal is to simply make a social/political statement. That's how liberals cram their ideology down people's throats all the time. By simply shoving their belief system in the faces of others.

No, it should not be outlawed.

You're right. Someone carrying a loaded pistol on their belt for the whole world to see never causes a scene.

People like that are left alone and given a wide berth. That's a big part of the appeal.

If you're openly carrying a loaded pistol in safe public places then you're afraid of something.

By definition, if you've armed yourself with a gun you're harboring some sort of fear, worry or concern and said gun helps diminish that fear, worry or concern.

People who don't arm themselves in public places really are the ones who aren't influenced by their fears or succumb to them by openly carrying a loaded pistol.
