First off debatable whether Jimbo is currently a top 5 coach.
Secondly, you can storyline all you want, but LSU and Texas are arguably the two biggest nationwide brands in college sports. You could throw in Ohio State, Oklahoma, Michigan, Alabama. But you get my point. There is simply a much bigger market for LSU/UT than Clemson/A&M
ETA: USC too in terms of brand recognition

Got to throw a bs flag. Among active Coaches who has a Head Coach natty ring?
BOTH Coaches at the Death Valley game have a ring. NEITHER of the Coaches in the Austin game do.

For all the talk of Texas brand, they only have won 3 national titles, 2 in the poll era.
