Here are your contenders:

Tied for First: Georgia and Mississippi State

The two leaders play a series in Starkville in two weeks. However, Georgia's remaining schedule gives them the opportunity to be the favorite, even if they drop the series 2-1 to State. State has a brutal next four weekends; at Arkansas, Georgia, at A&M, at Ole Miss.

A Half Game Back: Texas A&M
Keep your eye on Aggy. They have the opportunity to help themselves with a home series against State, but also have two series against unranked SEC teams.

One Game Back: Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Ole Miss, LSU
LSU losing the series against Missouri hurt, but they do have a series win against MSU. Ole Miss and Arkansas certainly have their opportunities, but Vanderbilt certainly has the easiest road. Four of their last five series are against the only four SEC teams that aren't ranked.

And A&M... I like that our next 2 series are Florida at home then Bama. Hopefully we can be in 1st after that. We will need to be because after that we have Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Auburn. The west is brutal
