Let's laugh at the new Smokey statues on UT's campus.

The university will unveil 10 statues of the bluetick hound, one for each dog that has been the mascot. Statutes will be placed around campus, everywhere from the UT Gardens to the Student Union Pedestrian Bridge. A map of all the statue locations is available on UT's website.
I figured they would be bronze. Pretty cool idea in my opinion. Except...

Reminds me of this

How does Justin guarini look at qb?

He looked like same old Jarrett. Not great, but not bad either.

How did our boy Franks look? I didn't watch, but heard he had a great passing game.

Frank's looked good, but the defense was vanilla. He purposefully threw a pick six to gator great lito sheppard.

Don’t be like Awbun and try and have multiple mascots. Just go with the hillbilly dude with the dead coon on his head. WTF does that ugly mutt have to do with UT anyway? Other than it’s butt ugly and Knoxville’s butt ugly.

I think it's pushing 200,000 city, 1 million metro nowadays. It's much bigger than when I was there last in the 1990s.
I visited Knoxville last year for the first time in 5 years, and it has changed tremendously. If you are ever there, please check out the Old City, Gay St., Market Square, and World's Fair Park. I really like the direction the city is going in. It's very bike-friendly and there are lots of cool things to do around town- much more than when I was at UT. "The Strip" (Cumberland Avenue) has gone vertical, which is a big transformation from the ugly suburban-style retail that used to be there.
UT earned a reputation for its arse-ugly campus, but it has now gotten a major facelift. I could understand why opposing fans who haven't been to Knoxville in a while think it's gross.
Now, driving into Knoxville along I-40 is gross. Knoxville has some of the worst sprawl I've seen for a city its size.

Multiple mascots...Ole Miss holds that record

Two doctored pics does not make a difference. I can come up with two doctored pics of Cleveland, OH that would make it look nice. Knoxville is rust belt looking town. Could be more being on a river but the town looks like one big shitehole that flushes down the river. Plus that putrid ugly orange worn by Neanderthals that prevails all over town doesn’t help.
