Well what did you expect. Their main mission was and is agriculture and mechanical pursuits. Cows, horses and hogs don't live in condo's. And AU is about as good at what they do as anyone in America. They build and fix stuff. Stuff like skyscrapers, bridges, defense systems and more. And they are cutting edge developing food raising techniques and animal studies.

My two oldest went to Bama and were sorority girls. They loved it and have nice husbands and good jobs and are living the American suburban dream. But the youngest loved animals. Took some sort of animal behavior route. I thought she was crazy but she now travels all over America driving an 18 wheeler picking up and managing troubled dogs and getting them straight for adoption. Employed by a huge national concern. She makes twice what the other three do and has the self confidence she took from her mentors at AU with her to land the opportunity. It's not for everybody. My school turns out sue happy lawyers, strong dog sales people and MD's. Well good but different strokes for different folks.

Ever been to Greene County? About the same distance from Ttown as Little Texas is to Auburn. Both are in the middle of nowhere. Auburn has Atlanta a little over an hour away, Ttown has Bessemer.

Bama zealots should never complain about Auburn with their mouths full of food. Auburn University and its graduates do a great job of feeding, healing, clothing and housing people all over the world. UAT is a one-trick pony with football being its raison d'etre.

That is the douschiest post I’ve ever seen. Glad for your kids, but both Alabama and Auburn are simply public universities that admit anyone with a pulse, just like State and OM.
