I read somewhere in the last year or so they are expanding Hoover Met to add more baseball fields and build a convention center type place. Not sure if that is still in the works though.

Hoover Met is old.
If Birmingham could come up with a way to accomodate the RVs I think it will host the SEC Tourney.

They already did add a convention center thing. Not 100% sure when they built it, but it's been there for at least over a year now

They've already done this. The facility is ridiculous.
