This is a little dated, but I didnt see a spring football
thread :
Missourian
Winter weather has not left Columbia, but spring football is upon us.
Missouri football is scheduled to kick off its spring practice season Sunday. It marks the beginning of the brief Kelly Bryant era in Tiger football as key leaders such as Drew Lock and Terry Beckner Jr. move on.
To figure out what’s next, the Missourian broke down each position group heading into 14 spring practices, concluded by the spring game at 3 p.m. April 13.

Garrett is one of the best LBs in the SEC.
Mizzou is moving more to the Stec model of 2 LBs and 3 safeties.
DE is the real question.

I'd keep Byars at DE along side Elliott. They can take away half the line vs the run and set the other edge up with one on one matchups. Turner has to take the next step rushing the passer. He does a good job of setting the edge but unless he has learned how to set up his rush, he will find himself on the sidelines on passing downs.

I would consider moving Byers to DT on passing downs.

Elliott isn't coming off the field much and sliding him over the center to put a DE at 3 Tech is going to cloud the A gaps with help. That reduces the effectiveness of both Elliott and the blitzing MLB.
Don't like it.
I'd rather dictate the help to one side and set up one on ones for the other DE and a free shot by the blitz.

Something to watch is the battle between Cook and Borom at LG.
Cook had some struggles last year but he was an asset in the power run game.
Borom has been getting a lot of praise from the veteran guys playing on either side of him. He had great feet as a recruit but needed a lot of work with pass pro technique and in the weight room. You can't coach being fricking enormous and Borom has it in spades.

Probably won’t see anything real next Saturday.
Remember Miller looking great last spring, and didn’t even travel to all games this season
