I will accept zero sanctions for Bama, if LSU still has a basketball program.

Based on the public evidence thus far, the situations aren't as far apart as we'd like to believe.

In LSU's situation, Will Wade is personally involved which is really bad and looks even worse but the content of his strong assed offer is currently unknown. Compared to, say Louisville, they're in a lot better shape because he still has some plausible deniability to say "I was talking about how I was assuring the family I would look after their son, not about cash payments." Sure it is a lie, but we have seen that approach work time after time after time when it comes to NCAA issues.

In our situation, they have evidence that talks about actual amounts to the player, his family, and a 6 figure job for a family member. Of those, even if nobody involved with Sexton cooperates with an investigation t the job is easily verifiable through outside means. Prove the job and you give strong support to the other allegations. The positive for us is that no member of the staff is mentioned or implicated in any fashion unless you count the AAD that was working for Dawkins and company.

The truth is Wade is neck deep in the dirtiest corners of the college basketball world and Sexton was almost certainly getting paid by Dawkins the whole time he was here. You've got a really bad situation that may be hard to prove vs a not nearly as bad situation that would likely be pretty easy to prove.

They may go after both, neither, pick the one that is more important, or pick the low hanging fruit. Absolutely nobody knows, which is why we should all be worried.
