The game tonight is starting with a 30 minute rain delay. Yay!

It's tied 1-1, the Braves run came from a Markakis solo homer.

2-1 thanks to Acuna's RBI against degrom.

Donaldson goes yard and extends his hit steak to 7 games with 7 extra base hits.
ETA: I'm on a little bit of a tape delay. I don't like watching commercials.

That was a hell of a line drive he hit there.

I think there might be some sort of correlation with Donaldson asking for time after the first pitch or two and his increase in hitting. Will collect more data and report back.

Charlie wasn't to be outdone, hit a two run bomb. 5-1 Braves, that was against the Met reliever. Julio had a great day for the Braves out there. Good first inning and everything.

Braves won 7-3! The Braves are a half game back of first place Phyllis.

The Braves next 3 games are against the d-backs starting Tuesday night in ATL. The pitching matchup first is Max Fried vs Robbie Ray, then Kevin Gausman vs Zack Godley and to wrap things up Thursday afternoon it's Weaver vs Touki!

NL East is going to be tough this year. Playing 54 games against the Phillies, Mets, and Nationals is going to be no joke.
NL end of year power rankings might have the four top NL East teams all in the top 8 or so teams in the league (I'd throw Brewers and Dodgers in there for sure, probably the Cubs and maybe the Cardinals - I don't think the Padres have staying power).

Fun fact of the day, Dansby's 18 RBI's ranks 5th most in MLB.

The Braves put Venters on the 10 day DL and brought up Shane Carle from AAA.

In the 2nd inning, first Fried gave up a couple runs to the d-backs, then in the bottom half Ronald Acuna blasted one so hard he fell to his knee. 2-1.

Bats are on fire right now. Gotta love Max starting the rally for him gettin a W.
Still not enough data to contribute to the Donaldson calling time and hitting better theory. Might slightly move the goalpost to just say that his time calling is just an attempt to throw off the pitchers ethers.

Big 5th inning. After Freddie got an RBI. The always thinking dbacks walked Ronald to load the bases for Johan. Big mistake. 5-2 Braves.

Biddle called into bases loaded jam

Biddle has out already after 2 batters

Damn, Sobotka and Biddle couldn't get anything right. 5-4 Braves still no outs

Fried's W blown by the bullpen.
